Making Life Skills the Point of the Game
Mission
The mission of B.O.S.S. basketball is to build success, on and off court, in today’s youth. Primarily, the focus time period will be during off-season months, although clinics will be available year-round.
Vision
- Our vision is to teach the importance of goal setting and the time and perseverance to accomplish those goals.
- We create space for the required repetition of fundamental skills such that these skills become second nature.
- We nurture joy, fair play and a sense of humor on the court as we interact with referees, coaches, teammates and opponents.
- We push to broaden our youth’s scope of vision from a singular “me” to a larger “we,” fostering community and shared responsibility for success.
- We cultivate a recognition of everyone on and off the court who help make success possible; and we encourage expressed gratitude in our children for their many opportunities.
Goals
BOSS Basketball is a nonprofit organization. It is our goal to utilize funds in the continued development of our children, for resource acquisition to accomplish this growth, and eventually, for donation back to the communities & facilities in which our children reside and play.
